So, what exactly is this show?

The Thurber Prize for American Humor is a coveted award in the world of humor writing and cartooning. James Thurber, the namesake of the award, was one of the foremost American humorists of the 20th century. His legacy is preserved through efforts by Thurber House, a Columbus, OH arts organization that maintains the historic home of James Thurber.

This award is produced by Thurber House and aims to celebrate its award finalists/winners while uplifting local Columbus artists through the production of the show.

This all-new show is "Mark Twain meets Tony Awards." We seek performers for "Tony-esque" numbers and bits throughout the show.
